This site is owned and operated by Yeri Tiete and is reachable at https://yeri.be.

It is a static website. There is no application server, no database, no user accounts, and no comment form. The only thing the page itself does in your browser is load a small first-party analytics script (see below).

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Media files (images, videos) are served from a Cloudflare R2 bucket at static.yeri.be. Cloudflare processes technical data — your IP address, the URL you requested, your user agent — to serve the page and protect the site, in line with Cloudflare’s privacy notice.

Analytics

Page views are counted with Umami, which is self-hosted on a private server in Amsterdam (Leaseweb) at umami.yeri.be. Umami records the page URL, referrer, country (derived from IP without storing the IP), browser, and OS. No cookies are set, no cross-site tracking, no third party gets your data, and no individual user profile is built. A small anonymized session-replay sample (15%, masked) is collected for layout debugging — these recordings drop input content and are aggregated, not tied to a person.

The on-site search runs entirely in your browser using Pagefind. The search index is downloaded as a static file when you visit /search/; nothing about your queries is sent back to me or to any server.

Comments

Comments left on posts before May 2026 are preserved as a static archive for historical reference. Author names, the URLs they entered, the date, and a Gravatar hash derived from the email they provided are shown. A hashed version of the email may be sent to Gravatar when your browser loads the avatar image.

New comments cannot be submitted.

Embedded content

Some posts embed video or audio from third parties (YouTube, Vimeo, SoundCloud, etc.). When the embed loads, the third party may receive your IP address, set cookies, and otherwise treat the visit as if you had loaded their site directly.
