To distinguish between disagreement and disinformation, and to refuse the lazy dismissal of inconvenient facts as "fake news."

To treat changing my mind as a sign of growth, not weakness; to regularly review my opinions and update them when the evidence does; to argue with people, not at them.

To respect nature and the scarce resources provided to us, and to fight the needless destruction of the earth for profit, convenience, or spectacle.

I am aggressively opposed to racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, nationalism, ethnocentrism, religious fundamentalism, and oppressive and coercive power structures of all kinds.
